Location: Via Tamor 24, Uccea/Učja, 33010 Resia/Rezija (UD) --> Accessible only from TARCENTO/ČENTA or BOVEC!!
We will hike through a beautiful forest to the former diary hut Casera Malikuk, then descend to the hamlet of Uccea/Učja.
- Length: 7 km.
- Elevation gain: 430 m.
- Duration: about 5 hours.
- Registrations: required at least 48 hours before the event.
- Meeting point: at 9.15 AM in Uccea/Učja (IMPORTANT: he hamlet of Uccea can be reached ONLY from Tarcento or from Plezzo/Bovec, and NOT from the Val Resia via Sella Carnizza).
At the end of the hike, we will be welcomed by local residents dressed in traditional festive attire to celebrate Püst, the traditional Resian carnival in its Uccea/Učja version, in which we will take part. --> Click here for more information about the event 'Püst Returns to Uccea/Učja'
- Not included: Any food, drinks, or personal expenses are at your own cost.
- What to bring: Appropriate winter mountain clothing and hiking footwear. A packed lunch/snacks and a warm drink are recommended.
