Sunday, November 23, between Prepotto and Castelmonte, join us for “The Routes of Collective Agricultural Identity along the Cammino Celeste path” — an event that celebrates Friuli Venezia Giulia through its outstanding local food and wine along one of the region’s most iconic spiritual and historical trails.
Part of the national project “The Routes of Collective Agricultural Identity”, the day includes walking and cycling routes with tours, tastings, and gourmet stops along the Cammino Celeste path, ending at the sanctuary of Castelmonte/Stara Gora.
On foot:

Group A: 10 km, elevation gain 500 m, meeting at 8:30 AM in Albana/Ibana (Ponte dello Schioppettino)

Group B: 4 km, elevation gain 280 m, meeting at 9:30 AM in San Pietro di Chiazzacco/Teje.
By bike:
- 16 km, elevation gain 600 m, meeting at 9:30 AM in front of Prepotto/Prapotno Town Hall.
For everyone: a sweet welcome from the Codromaz bakery, visits to the churches of Centa/Britof and San Pietro di Chiazzacco/Teje, a presentation of the indigenous Schioppettino wine, and tastings of local honey and saffron.
Arrival in Castelmonte between 12:00 and 1:00 PM, with a visit to the sanctuary, presentation of the Cammino Celeste path, and a final refreshment featuring local specialties, Schioppettino wine, and roasted chestnuts.
Return starting at 3:00 PM — on foot, by bike, or by shuttle (reservation required).
Participation fee: 6 € (includes refreshments and insurance).
Registration required November 20.
In case of bad weather, the event will take place in Castelmonte starting at 11:00 AM.
