"Poguojki: food made with love"
Cooking is memory, identity and sharing: The Invitation Association and Pro Loco Nediške Doline invite you to the third event in the cycle of cooking classes “Poguojki: food made with love” dedicated to the rediscovery of culinary traditions as an identity factor.
The meeting will be held at the House of Masks in Rodda. This charming location is famous because it hosts the Carnival of the “Pustje” and is adorned with extraordinary masks carved in wood by Antonio Trinco from Rodda, a skilled local craftsman.
Theme of the evening: The cuisine of the Natisone valleys from a gluten-free perspective
Guided by Caterina Dugaro and Cristina Breviglieri Osgnach, we will explore the cuisine of the Natisone Valleys reinterpreted in a gluten-free key.
- Caterina Dugaro together with her family runs the Agriturismo Casa delle Rondini. Her cuisine is a tribute to tradition. She repurposes dishes that people often no longer have time to prepare at home.
- Cristina Breviglieri Osgnach, originally from Mantua, moved to Gnidovizza for love. The discovery of being cliaca a few years ago led her to experiment and perfect the art of mixing gluten-free flours, finding a perfect balance to recreate traditional recipes without sacrificing taste.
The recipes that will be made during the evening:
- Chestnut flour blekì with sausage and rosemary
- Buckwheat palačinka with savory or sweet filling
- Boiled Štruki.
The dishes will be accompanied by wines from Azienda Agricola Scribano selected to enhance the flavor of the proposed dishes.
